Below is the official press release for our new music video. Last year we worked hard with Killer Goose Films to create a video for our new song “Someday You’ll Be My Wife.” Since its completion last October it has been exclusive to film festival submissions but the time is finally here to unleash it to the whole world! FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Tigerman Music Short Film to Premiere April 16th
Experimental Band to Screen and Celebrate at Release Party
New Jersey, February 22, 2016: The experimental funk/jazz/rock group Tigerman will premiere their
music short film, “Someday You’ll Be My Wife” at the Paramus V.F.W. in Paramus, NJ on April 16, 2016
at 7pm, after which it will be available to view online. The band will also be joined by fellow NJ group
Moonfighter for live music sets after the screening.
Directed by Risa Pappas of Killer Goose Films, LLC, the short film stars the band and their music. Pappas
has said about “Someday You’ll Be My Wife” and Tigerman, “I wanted to make the craziest music video I
possibly could for my good friends in Tigerman. When I find kindred spirits in creativity, I tend to push it
as far as I can. I’m proud of the work we did and I hope everyone will enjoy watching it as much as we
enjoyed creating it.”
Tigerman are known for their high-intensity live performances and sonically strange soundscapes.
They’ve played multiple music festivals in the New York/New Jersey area including Baconfest, Mazfest
and Hulavom and have become a staple at Souper Groove. Additionally they have played at the Mexicali
Live, the Crossroads, the Stone Pony and more.
Tigerman are Adam Carelli on horns, Jay Gogel on keys, Kurt Althoff on guitar, Joe Stracquatanio on bass
and Rory Burns on drums. Current dwellers of New Jersey, they met as students at William Paterson
University and formed Tigerman in 2011. For more information or to schedule an interview, please
